POSTPONED: Heritage in Motion(s)

Due to flooding at our theatre from the severe storm on July 1, Heritage in Motion(s) is POSTPONED.

All tickets purchased for the July 4, 2026 performance will be honoured on the new date, which is still to be determined, so please hang on to your tickets.

A refund option will also be available once the new date is announced.

Heritage in Motion(s) is a vibrant cultural production by the Ishaka cultural group offering an artistic journey through the richness and evolution of Burundian heritage.

Through music, dance, and storytelling, the performance moves from the echoes of ancestral traditions to the pulse of contemporary expression, bringing to life a culture that continues to transform and inspire.

Blending heritage with contemporary creativity, the show highlights the power of culture to connect generations and communities.

Performers of all ages will take to the stage to showcase authentic folklore dances and songs, demonstrating the celebration of our roots, identity, and the beauty of cultural evolution.

All patrons entering the theatre must have a ticket. A complimentary ticket is available for babes-in-arms. Babes-in-arms are children 12 months of age or younger. Please note: the baby will not have a seat and must be held on the parent or guardian’s lap. Parents or guardians must pick up these tickets in person from the Box Office on the day of the show only.
