Sit back and get ready to be taken on a magical, musical journey from China via India and to Italy. Musicians Ran Wang (guzheng) and Annette Bauer (sarod, recorders, duduk, pipe, and tabor) navigate the silk road from East to West. Together, they weave through historical time periods by presenting music from the ancient Han dynasty (200BC-9AD) to music from the emerging European 15th century Renaissance.
Their musical journey is a conversation between the sounds of instruments and an exploration of the unknown.
This show will be followed by coffee and treats.
If cost is a barrier for you, please contact the Box Office at 613-580-2700.There are a limited number of free tickets available.
