Billboard Top 10 Blues Artist, JW-Jones, is back on the stage! The 2020 International Blues Challenge “best guitarist” winner and JUNO nominee will be lighting up the Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe stage with his usual high-energy performance, wowing the crowd with song after song.
The friends featured are: DeeDee Butters, Aylmer Jules, Tyler Kealey, and Steve Marriner. These amazing Ottawa artists joining JW on stage are handpicked by the man himself.
JW-Jones and his band will back these amazing performers and play crowd favourites from their own repertoire.

DeeDee Butters
DeeDee Butters is a flexible and expressive three-octave voice, soul-pop artist! Her sound of delicate textures, nimble riffs, and blazing high notes, lead her to front the original pop-funk-disco band, DeeDee7. She channels classic soul-diva her nine-piece tribute to Aretha Franklin, With Respect, and is a founding member of the art-pop tour-de-force, The PepTides. She has collaborated with many live acts such as Seann McCann, The Cooper Brothers, Rebecca Noelle, Amanda Rheaume, and Church of Trees and has opened for iconic artists such as The Beach Boys and Carol Pope.
Almyr Jules
Ottawa-based Almyr Jules is making a name for himself at home and across the globe. He’s been compared to Leon Bridges, Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes and Bruno Mars with his tender voice and wholesome tunes, and songs filled with catchy Pop melodies that blend the sincerity of Folk with the feel of R&B. His music is made for sharing stories and creating moments in an honest and relatable way.
Tyler Kealey
Tyler is well-known in Ottawa for his ongoing 20 year run as part of the Duelling Piano, but his true passion in music is his craft as a singer and songwriter. His lyrical and melodic talent give audiences a personal connection to his songs which is coupled with his story telling ability and signature fast flying improvisational skills on piano. He has completed a six-city tour of China, a Canada Day performance in Mali, Africa for the Canadian troops, as well as countless music festivals across Canada. He has backed up many artists including Charlie Major, Jim Cuddy, and William Prince. You’ll also still catch him on the local scene such as the Kemptville Live Music Festival and the Festival of Small Halls.
Steve Marriner
Steve is Ottawa-raised and now Toronto-based who is a multi-instrumentalist, song writing singer sits at, or near the top of the list, as “Canada’s hardest working person in show biz.” Havign performed as part of fan favourite MonkeyJunk he won an array of JUNO Awards and Maple Blues Awards. Audiences may have also witnessed Steve play the role of musical foil to Colin James on stage and on the outstanding release Miles To Go. Those same audiences have heard him deliver one tasty lick after another or sing alongside Harry Manx on their 2019 critically acclaimed and chart-topping duo outing, Hellbound for Heaven.
