The Legendary Downchild Blues Band - Happy Trails Tour - with Natalie MacMaster and Kellylee Evans

Presented by Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe

Special guests: Grammy Award winning Cape Breton fiddler, Natalie MacMaster and Juno Award winning singer Kellylee Evans

Support: Jeff Rogers

The Legendary Downchild Blues Band may be Canada’s best known and loved blues act, capturing the world with their signature jump-blues style and infectious, soulful sound. They were the inspiration for Hollywood stars Dan Aykroyd and the late John Belushi’s hit film, The Blues Brothers.

With hits such as “Shotgun Blues”, “Flip Flop & Fly”, “I Got Everything I Need (Almost)” and fan favourites like “It’s Been So Long” and “Going Dancing” among their long list of stellar songs it's no wonder that leader and co-founder, Donnie “Mr. Downchild” Walsh, was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019. Having been lauded with quite a few accolades over their career, including JUNO Awards and a Maple Blues Award for “Entertainers Of The Year,” this is a show not to be missed by any music fan.

Downchild delivers a live performance that is second to none!

“There would be no Blues Brothers if it weren’t for Downchild”
          – Dan Aykroyd

Don’t miss this performance as Grammy Award winning Cape Breton Fiddler Natalie MacMaster and Juno Award winning singer Kellylee Evans join Downchild on stage as special guests.

2X Maple Blues Award nominated singer, songwriter and keyboard player, Jeff Rogers is the opener.
