Due to the provincial restrictions announced on January 3, the closure of Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe takes effect on Wednesday, January 5 and will last at least 21 days.

Proof of vaccination required

Please note that you must present proof you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe as mandated by provincial regulations.

Required proof

  • Please bring your vaccination receipt or enhanced certificate confirming you are fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated means you have received two doses of a Health Canada approved vaccine at least 14 days prior.
  • Valid identification that shows name and date of birth and has been issued by an institution or public body.

Exceptions

  • Age 11 and under
  • Those with a medical exemption from a doctor or nurse practitioner.
  • Youth between the ages of 12 and 17 participating in certain organized activities, including dance.

Rentals

The theatres may be rented with limited capacities and other restrictions.

If an event is cancelled or postponed, ticket buyers will be contacted.

Q: What can I expect when I attend a performance in-person?

Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe requests that all guests wear masks unless they are unable to for medical reasons or if they are under the age of two. Proof of medical exemption from a doctor or nurse practitioner is required.

Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe has implemented increased cleaning procedures to ensure the safety of all patrons.

Q: If a performance is cancelled, when and how will I receive a refund?

If you purchased tickets online for an event that is cancelled, refunds will be processed through our online ticketing partner and returned to your credit card.

If you purchased tickets over the phone or in person, we will call you to refund your purchase. Refunds can be processed in-person at the Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe Box Office. See the Box Office page for hours of operation.
