Come From Away is a heartfelt musical based on the true story of the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following September 11, 2001. When 38 planes were diverted to Gander, the town’s residents opened their homes, schools, and community spaces to thousands of stranded passengers.

The show explores themes of kindness, community, and human connection, highlighting both the chaos and the compassion that emerged during the crisis. Through an energetic mix of music, storytelling, and ensemble performances, Come From Away celebrates resilience, generosity, and the ways strangers can become family in times of need.

Its uplifting, real-life narrative resonates with audiences, showing that even in tragedy, humanity and hope can prevail.
