Will Somers: Keeping Your Head

Presented by Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe

Written and performed by Pierre Brault

January 16th, 1559: Coronation Day for Queen Elizabeth I of England, the last monarch in the bloody reign of the Tudors, England’s most influential and scandalous dynasty. Will Somers, the family’s longtime jester, prepares for the ceremony, he takes us through an astonishing life adventure, providing comic relief for four Tudor monarchs, from the notorious Henry VIII to the Virgin Queen, Elizabeth. With only his razor sharp wit and disarming charm, Will carefully and comically navigates his way through the deadly schemes of the court… and even has a few intrigues of his own!

Join Will Somers for this comical romp of historical proportions, full of song, stories and mostly laughter, as that’s what it takes to Keep your Head!
