At Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe we are proud to provide a welcoming and accessible destination for all our guests. While there are many accessible features and services available at our Theatres, please also let our staff and volunteers know if you require any accommodations.
Accessible Seating
Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe has accessible seating locations, with seating available for patrons using mobility devices, as well as for those accompanied by support persons. We have designated accessible spaces and neighbouring companion seats in the orchestra level of the Mainstage, as well as in the gallery and orchestra levels in the Les Lye Studio Theatre. Accessible seating for those with visual, auditory or mobility disabilities are also available, upon request.

Accessibility features at our facility
At Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe, all exterior doors are equipped with automated openers. Upon arrival, please let our staff or volunteers know if you require any assistance.
All washrooms are equipped with automated openers and have accessible stalls. The theatres’ parking lots also offer ample designated accessible parking close to the entrances.
Assistive listening devices
Assistive listening devices are available to patrons, upon request. They are free of charge; however, we do require a security deposit in the form of the patron's driver license, a major credit card, or car keys to ensure the safe return of the device.
The audio system at Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe is an infrared audio receiver that requires the use of a handset and headset. Both are available either from the Coat Check located next to the Les Lye Studio Theatre, or by request from the House Manager. Patrons can borrow a set of the Theatres' headphones free of charge, purchase a set from the Theatres' staff, or use their own standard pin headset. The Patron's security deposit is left in a sealed envelope in a secured location during the event.
Service animals
Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe welcomes all service animals into our auditoriums. When purchasing your tickets, please let our customer service agents know of any required accommodations to ensure you and your service animal are seated in an accessible area.
Elevators
The Les Lye Studio Theatre is equipped with a self-service elevator that can transport patrons to and from the lower lobby level. Currently there is no elevator to Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe's Main Stage balcony level. There is a lift to the lower level seating area in the orchestra for patrons with mobility disabilities who can transfer to a stationary theatre seat.
Temporary disabilities
If you have a temporary disability or injury and you have already purchased tickets to an event, please call our customer service agents at 613-580-2700 and, if possible, we will make the necessary arrangements for you to attend the event in a comfortable and accessible manner. When calling, please have the event, date, section, row, and seat available.
Mobility devices
While Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe does not formally check mobility devices, such as walkers or rollators, , we will always try to accommodate our patrons with their mobility devices. Please ask any of our theatre staff or volunteers for assistance. Please note that Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe is not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen mobility devices, as well as other items stored within the device.

Seating Descriptions
Mainstage Theatre Seating Description
The Mainstage Theatre has a total of 954 seats available. It is split between the orchestra level’s 730 seats and the balcony’s 224 seats. The orchestra level begins at row AA then rows A through W. There are 30 to 38 available seats in each row split by an aisle on the left side and an aisle on the right side creating three sections: Orchestra Left, Orchestra Centre, Orchestra Right.
Seating is numbered by way of odd and even numbers. Odd numbers start with 1 in the middle of Orchestra Centre and continue to the left until seat 19 which is next to the left-side aisle and continues on to the other side of the aisle to Orchestra Left with seat 21 up to seat 37 depending upon how many seats are available in the row. Even numbers start with 2 in the middle of Orchestra Centre and continue to the right until seat 20 which is next to the right-side aisle before carrying on to the other side of the aisle to Orchestra Right with seat 22 up to 38 depending upon how many seats are available in the row. The left-side aisle is between seat numbers 21 in Orchestra Left and 19 in Orchestra Centre, while the right-side aisle is between seat 22 in Orchestra Right and 20 in Orchestra Centre. The aisles lead from the entrance and exits at the back of the orchestra level to row AA. Accessible seating with five moveable seats are located in the Orchestra Left, Row U. Rows V and W also have accessible seating, located in the Orchestra Centre and Orchestra Right.
The Orchestra Balcony is also split into three sections with Balcony Left, Balcony Centre, and Balcony Right. Balcony Left and Balcony Right begin at Row AA then A through F, while Balcony Centre begins at Row A and continues to row F. There are 38 up to 40 seats available in each row. However, Balcony Centre Rows A and B can sometimes have less seats, depending on up the set up of a sound board between seats 7 and 8 which takes away six seats from each row. The left-side aisle is between seat numbers 21 in Balcony Left and 19 in Balcony Centre, while the right-side aisle is between seat 22 in Balcony Right and 20 in Balcony Centre from rows AA to D, and seat number 25 and 15 on the left and 16 and 26 on the right from Rows E to F. The aisles lead from the entrance and exits at the back of the Balcony level to row AA. There are no accessible seating locations in the balcony. The Balcony can only be accessed via stairs.

Les Lye Studio Theatre Seating Description
Standard seating configuration
The Les Lye Studio Theatre standard seating configuration has a total of 199 seats available. 163 seats and two accessible locations with moveable seats are available on the main level, while there are 36 seats and two accessible locations with moveable seats available on the gallery level.
The main level begins with row GA2 followed by GA3 then A through F. Seating is numbered from 1 up to 24 depending upon the row. GA2 and GA3 are general admission seats which mean the seats are not assigned and are by first come first serve upon arrival at the event. There are 20 seats available in row GA2, as well as two accessible seating locations with moveable seats next to the aisle on either side. Rows A through E are assigned seating and begin from number 1 on the right side and continues left to number 20 in sequential order. Row F is also assigned seating and begins at number 1 on the right side and continues left to number 24 in sequential order. Exits and entrances are on the left side of the seating as well as the right side of the seating.
The Gallery level has two rows available which are Row G and Row H. Row G has 17 assigned seats available starting at 1 on the right-side continuing left to number 17 in sequential order. Row H has 19 seats available beginning with 1 and continuing left to 10 in sequential order. Row H also has two accessible locations with moveable seats next to seat number 1.

Pit seating configuration
The Les Lye Studio Theatre pit seating configuration has a total of 233 seats available. 197 seats and two accessible locations with moveable seats are available on the main level while there are 36 seats and two accessible locations with moveable seats available on the gallery level.
The main level begins with non assigned general admission seating in the pit containing rows GA, GA1 and GA2. Each of these rows have 19 seats available. This is followed by GA3, then A through F. Seating is numbered from 1 up to 24 depending upon the row. GA3 is also general admission seating which mean the seats are not assigned and are by first come first serve upon arrival at the event. There are 16 seats available in row GA3 in addition to two accessible seating locations with moveable seats next to the aisle on either side. Rows A through E are assigned seating and begin from number 1 on the right side and continues left to number 20 in sequential order. Row F is also assigned seating and begins at number 1 on the right side and continues left to number 24 in sequential order. Exits and entrances are on the left side of the seating as well as the right side of the seating.
The Gallery level has two rows available which are Row G and Row H. Row G has 17 assigned seats available starting at 1 on the right-side continuing left to number 17 in sequential order.
